The hotel was a good base for touring the area, located on the main street and within short walking distance of the town centre shops, pubs and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Would have been useful to have a wet bar in the suite.
The frenidly staff
the breakfast was good and staff was nice, close to downtown and nice few at mountains.
too many party kids staying there on the weekend. kept us up all night. very rude nobody did anything, had to take matters in to are own hands.
Closness to the main shopping area in banff. location was great for walking to eating establishments a great variety within 3-4 blocks, from economical to high end. Room maids were very friendly and did thier best to accomadate us.
Pretty much everything. Great continental breakfast, staff was incredibly helpful, the rooms were nice and spacious... it was central and allowed for quick access to all of Banff's fun.
No. Everything was great
Very close to shopping. Excellent location close to good restaurants and to the mall in case you're looking for something more economic as fast food. Very clean.
Housekeeper kept forgetting to refill toiletries.
After each day of exploring the breathtaking scenery in the area, we enjoyed happy hour on our balcony overlooking the mountains before dinner in Banff.
I took my boyfriend to Banff to see the sights hike and relax. The hotel staff were wonderful and very informative. We had the added bonus of a heated indoor pool which we used. The room was really nice with a balcony overlooking the Sulphur mountains. Breakfast was a typical continental style basic breakfast. We liked the location as it was close to everything. We would definitely stay there again.
We enjoy the location (close to downtown Banff). It has a continental breakfast (although we miss the waffles from earlier years). It has a pool and hot tubs. The staff is helpful and the hotel is usually pretty quiet. It is a good family hotel. We chose this hotel for the inexpensive rate, the great location, good facilities, and our past experience staying there.
For the first time in four years we had a little trouble with regulating the room temperature. By the third night it was back to normal.
Temperature was too warm during the night, had to sleep with the window open. Velcro wheelchair ramp posed a danger to youngsters, it fell on someone's leg.
Room was really spacious, clean and 2 new Queen beds. New modern bedding, flat screen tv. Good sheets, decent pillows. Balcony faced the mountain on the rear of hotel. Drapery kept the room dark. Continental breakfast was good enough to start the day, and was well attended. 10 minute drive to the famous upper Banff mineral pool. Really close to a grocery store, and easy walk from resturants and shopping. Walls were a bit thin, and the hotel was full, somewhat noisy. I felt we got value ofr our money and Booking .com did save us money off the rack rate.
The 3rd floor was really hot. We slept with the door open 6 inches on Feb 25, 2011. It was -8 celcius out. The fridge was handy but not level so the door did stay shut and our ice cream melted. They need new washers in the taps in the bathroom. Pool was nice but too much chlorine, really irritated the eyes just sitting in the hot tub. However they had 2 hot tubs and a sauna. 10 minute drive to the famous upper Banff mineral pool. Really close to a grocery store, and easy walk from resturants and shopping.
Location-walking distance to shops/restaurants. Continental breakfast was a nice bonus and convenience. Hot tubs were clean and located in hotel. Bed was comfy. Staff service was fine. Heated underground parking.
Walls were thin. The hot tubs would have been nicer if they were outside.
i really enjoyed the mountains. the beds were really comfortable
the par that i didnt like was that we didnt have breakfast. i still appreciated the fact that we had a free breakfast
Booked.net provided a superior value, compared to other websites, and was easy to use.
The common areas are showing signs of wear and an reno is overdue.
attentive service, free car parking facilities, polite and helpful front desk staff
